Razor-lined mouth and heart of stone
Golden eyes that see through your soul
Big as boulders, stomping paws
Ripping, shredding, jagged claws
A voice like a trumpet blast
Promising quick death at last
Bat-like huge leather wings
Venom-filled tail ready to sting
Quick as a lightning strike
Pain in a flash of light
Mocking laughter, mesmerizing stare
Enter his realm if you dare

Circa: 1630 of the Corvarix Age.

A kind face with high noble cheeks and a strong square jaw peered down at her. His eyes glowed, lucent and almost mesmerizing. Deep lavender flecked with gold. She saw time in them— ancient, he was. She thought for an instant he might be a kind creature, but when he smiled, that thought fled. Teeth like broad-head arrows lined his mouth.
“No more than a morsel,” the trumpet sounded again. “What brings you here, morsel?”
